The Full Mooniest Mic #2: The Future of Mobility

The Openest Mic’s second Full Mooniest of 2026 is going to be thought provoking and informative. While I hesitate to have “themes”, this mic will have feature performers surrounding the concepts of mobility, equity and advocacy. Sets for open mic-ers are two songs or five minutes. All talent levels are encouraged to participate! We have had all genres of music, prayers, anecdotes and dances on our stage. We have had released felons and city councilors and everyone in between. No matter who you are, you’re welcome to bring your authentic self to this supportive room. All ages, our oldest participants were in their 90’s, the youngest was barely a toddler. This event is completely free unless you get a drink at the bar or grab a bite from one of the MANY downtown options. Parking is either in the lots near Riverfront Park or one of the myriad parking lots downtown, as well as on street. Even if you don’t want to perform, the venue has plenty of seating. Weekly Walks

Join us Wednesday mornings for our weekly walks starting at 10:30am. You're invited to take advantage of the weather and explore trails in the heart of Fitchburg with a dedicated group of weekly walkers. Walkers of all ages are welcome to spend an hour strolling with NCLT every week and become familiar with one of our most popular conservation areas. Terrain is fairly level and we suggest dressing for the weather. Dogs on leash welcome. Park and meet at the kiosk at the end of Flat Rock Road (off of Prospect St) in Fitchburg.

First Thursdays at the Fitchburg Art Museum are just too fun, the Openest Mic had to get involved! There will be a farmers market going prior to the showcase, get your fresh produce. Stewards For The Future Crow Congress

Overview

Come help us plan an initiative which is drawing on science and culture to tell the story of what a healthier No Central MA could be.

The Stewards for the Future draws on science, culture, economics, politics and activism to build a vision of what we hope to see for our regional community in North Central Massachusetts. We aim to create an inclusive narrative for positive change and focus our community’s full range of experience and talent on finding practical solutions to our environmental, economic, and social challenges. Our goal is to align our actions with the future we want for ourselves and for future generations, a future that prioritizes health, equity, prosperity, and liberty.

Come join us and help us plan an initiative at our next meeting on Feb. 6, 4:00pm to 6:00pm, at CANVAS by CoFF33 Corp, our first official “Crow Congress”. We will collaborate to build a framework for programs based on the needs and visions of participants and the broader community. Please bring your ideas for plans of action, and consider the following questions for our discussion:

• What topics do we want to learn more about? (Such as climate solutions, strategies for activism and policy change, sustainable economics for an equitable society, activist cultural production, fundraising and promotion, etc.)
• What kind of projects should we pursue? (Cultural, practical, festive, etc.)
• What are the barriers are holding us back?
• What are our strengths, resources, and opportunities for support?
• What kinds of outreach and/or networks would be most worthwhile to develop in terms of time, money and effort?
• How should we organize ourselves?
• What else? (Feel free to contact us to add to this list)

Join us Wednesday mornings for our weekly walks starting at 10:30am. You're invited to take advantage of the weather and explore trails in the heart of Fitchburg with a dedicated group of weekly walkers. Walkers of all ages are welcome to spend an hour strolling with NCLT every week and become familiar with one of our most popular conservation areas. Join us Wednesday mornings for our weekly walks starting at 10:30am. You're invited to take advantage of the weather and explore trails in the heart of Fitchburg with a dedicated group of weekly walkers. Walkers of all ages are welcome to spend an hour strolling with NCLT every week and become familiar with one of our most popular conservation areas. Terrain is fairly level and we suggest dressing for the weather. Dogs on leash welcome. Park and meet at the kiosk at the end of Flat Rock Road (off of Prospect St) in Fitchburg.

EVERY SATURDAY morning . . . “Saturday Club,” 8 to 9 am, Longsjo Middle School, Wallace Way Steps on Elm St.  Join us for a casual meet-up for anyone who wants to do light fitness in a supportive environment. We've done planks, walking and jogging in linear laps up and down Wallace, pushups, flutter kicks, stair hustles and side-straddle hops; what will we do this week? Whatever makes sense for the group! Weekly Walks

Join us Wednesday mornings for our weekly walks starting at 10:30am. You're invited to take advantage of the weather and explore trails in the heart of Fitchburg with a dedicated group of weekly walkers. Walkers of all ages are welcome to spend an hour strolling with NCLT every week and become familiar with one of our most popular conservation areas. Terrain is fairly level and we suggest dressing for the weather. Dogs on leash welcome. Park and meet at the kiosk at the end of Flat Rock Road (off of Prospect St) in Fitchburg.
