As part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, the City of Fitchburg has been awarded $31.2M. This once-in-a-generation funding will be used in a variety of ways to support Fitchburg's long-term goals or to respond to current challenges, including those from the COVID-19 pandemic.
To identify projects, the Mayor's Office is issuing a Request for Proposals, which will allow Fitchburg nonprofit organizations, along with municipal agencies, to apply for funds which address one of the four ARPA-specific objectives. The RFP can be found here. More information on the ARPA funding and the RFP can be found at www.FitchburgMA.gov/ARPA.
