The Fitchburg Municipal Airport, in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, FAA Orders 1050.1F, has completed a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed Avigation Easement Acquisition, Vegetation Obstruction Removal, Corporate and General Aviation Hangar Development, Perimeter Fencing, Terminal Area Development, Non-Aeronautical Use Development, and ASOS Relocation at the Fitchburg Municipal Airport, Fitchburg, MA. Written comments on the Draft EA are requested from interested parties and will be accepted no later than March 29, 2024.
