Auditing

The Auditing Department is in place to protect the fiduciary interests of the city by providing timely oversight of city finances, and ensure that financial transactions are executed legally, efficiently, and effectively. Auditing provides the controllership and audit functions for the city.

The department is intricately involved with various budgeting and analysis; and provides timely budget schedules and performs continuous detailed review, analysis, and corrective measures for all departmental accounts. The department provides monthly updates and develops support schedules for budget forecasting and projections based on different scenarios.
