FITCHBURG -- Daniel Curley, the executive director of the city's redevelopment authority, died suddenly late last month. He was 59.

Building by building, Fitchburg clearing away decay

FITCHBURG -A dilapidated one-story home demolished Monday was the first in a round of tear-downs aimed at reducing neighborhood blight.

Opportunity Zones could offer tax benefits across Central Mass.

Traffic lanes on Fitchburg's Water Street Bridge will be narrowed

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is conducting repairs on the Water Street Bridge in Fitchburg. The changes are expected to remain in place until the bridge is replaced during a construction project slated to begin in the spring of 2021.
