CWMars Digital Collection

Use your library card to download books, audiobooks, and movies from our own Digital Catalog to your desktop or laptop computer.

Call or visit the Library for assistance with this and other technical issues.
The Overdrive app that for years has provided access to ebooks and digital audio books for your mobile phone or tablet is being replaced by Libby. Download Libby now through Google Play for your android device or the App Store for your apple device. A Windows 10 version is now available at the Windows Store.

Commonwealth eBooks

We now have more digital content: books, videos, audio and academic articles for you to download to your computer, tablet, or smartphone!
  Go to the Commonwealth eBook collections to search for eBooks and more from our partners, Bibliolabs (Biblioboard), Baker & Taylor (Axis 360)and Proquest Ebook.
Commonwealth Ebooks has more than 500,000 titles.  At the prompt, you will select Fitchburg as your library.  It also has a great Help/Feedback section to get you started.
Search for a book, check it out with your Fitchburg Public Library card, and download the items to your device. If you need a password or pin, contact the library at 978-829-1783.

Baker and Taylor Axis 360 
Axis 360 includes popular fiction and non-fiction titles.  You can download the Axis 360 app to get all these on your phone, tablet or e-reader!  Note that Axis 360 does not work on E-ink Kindle readers such as the Paperwhite.
